So those of you who know me realize that it is very hard to please me music wise, especially in the genre of hip-hop. I'm so done with the whole fake thug, I sell 500 pounds of coke & the "I'll kill your mother if you look at me the wrong way" type of rapper. That's why artist such as Drake, Wale and Kid Cudi are such a sigh of relief for me. But it seems that there's a new young man hitting the hip-hop scene as well. Mr. J Cole a North Carolina native signed to RocNation. He attended St.John's University on an academic scholarship, choosing that school so that he could be in the heart of the music industry: New York City. After graduating from St. Johns everything fell into place for J.Cole and you can even hear him featured on Jay-Z's newest album The Blueprint 3. I've downloaded his latest mixtape "The Warm Up" and I absolutely love it! I haven't felt this way about an artist in a long time and truth be told he's slowly winning over my heart. Not only can he write but he can freestlye as well. I see big things happening for J.Cole and I wish him the greatest success.

A double congratulations to Lil Wayne! The rapper is expecting two lil' ones this year. No ... not twins. He has two baby's mamas. Actually, make that four baby's mamas (he already is the father of two children).

Rumors have been circulating for months that Dwayne Carter, Jr. (the Grammy-winning rappers real name) is the father of Lauren London's baby. On Tuesday, Lil Wayne confirmed the baby news while interviewing on Los Angeles Power 106. This is the 'ATL' actress' first child and she (pictured) is already several months along.

Wayne is also expecting a child with his on-again and off-again girlfriend, R&B singer Nivea. The Young Money CEO's growing family includes 9-year-old Reginae, who he fathered with his ex-wife Toya Carter, and Dwayne Michael Carter III, who's mother was not identified.
